Volunteer role: Communication AdviserRole overview
The ideal person for this role is somebody who has a background in communications and Tanzania media contacts. With a requirement to undertake stakeholder and marketing material s audits, in order to make recommendations that can be developed into a communications plan for VSO Tanzania to communicate cost effectively to both its internal and external stakeholders .If you are passionate about using your communication and training skills to demonstrate the positive change VSO has made in Tanzania, and keen to travel the country, in order to visit the projects, you are the ideal candidate!
Role overview
The ideal person will Support Tanzania Local Enterprise Development (TLED) Project’s objective to facilitate delivery of Business Development Services (BDS) to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) by focusing on Health, Safety and Environment training and provision of advice to the SMEs and national partners do adopt and practice gender practices in conducting business.
In execution of his/her role, the candidate will work along with other national and international volunteer experts to support the SMEs to address socio-cultural barriers affecting growth of their businesses in Iringa, and Mwanza Regions.
